Sustainability is a human problem. Organisational leaders need to balance the need to mitigate the negative impact they have on the environment while being adaptive to the real impact that climate change will cause for your business.

This five week programme covers:

The skills you need to navigate the uncertainty created by climate change

How to build an adaptive and resilient culture within your organisation with a sustainability mindset.

Action plans for quick wins and long term projects to become a net-zero organisation for the future.

This programme is aimed at a group of managers or leaders within an organisation who desire to transform their organisation into a net zero, sustainable organisation.

Your experience:

There is no experience requirement, but you should have personal and organisational management responsibility of hold some level of influence within the organisation.

Course Outline

½ days virtual introduction to sustainability – personal, organisational and global

1 day face to face workshop on mitigating the impact of your business on the environment

Three weeks of self-guided and group learning during which time the group will explore their business from the perspective of the circular economy and develop collective action plans. This process will be supported on our learning experience platform with digital content.

1 day face to face workshop on adaptive leadership for the climate emergency. This is a scenario based learning session where the group will be presented with certain climate change scenarios and will have to adapt the business response in each scenario.

The final half day can be either face to face or virtual and is a presentation day concluded with a facilitated session on goal setting.

Two week of reflection and presentation planning where the group collates there learning and makes business presentation to the CEO or Senior Sustainability Officer or Sponsor.
