Overview

Supervision is the process of externally supported reflection with someone who sits outside the system. As Organisation Design & Development (OD&D) Practitioners, supervision helps us come to a better understanding of our role, ourselves and the context in which we are working, so we become more effective at what we do.

Roffey Park, a leader in OD&D, offers both individual and group supervision options and fosters vibrant OD&D communities of practice. Our supervision services are tailored to meet the specific needs and budget of your in-house team

Benefits

Supervision is a vital tool for the development of OD&D professionals, whether they are seasoned experts or just beginning their journey. It is particularly beneficial for in-house practitioners in large, complex, distributed, and decentralised organisations. For example:

  • Practitioners in Organisational Development or Organisational Effectiveness, as well as Programme Managers and Change/Strategy Leads
  • Those responsible for driving cultural change within their organisations
  • Individuals looking to refine their approach, work through relationship challenges and build their confidence
  • Professionals aiming to develop expertise in areas like collaborative change
  • Those working to foster a culture of continuous improvement in complex environments
  • Freelance OD&D consultants seeking a supportive community of practice.
By engaging in supervision, your OD&D professionals will gain confidence, become more effective, and have a greater impact in their role. Moreover, their colleagues will benefit by observing their actions and participating in the conversations they have. Specifically, supervision helps to:

  • Facilitate the exchange of ideas, tools, and techniques to strengthen OD&D capability within your organisation
  • Foster a collaborative community and ensure consistent, integrated practices across areas, functions and teams
  • Support quality assurance and uphold ethical standards in practice
  • Drive successful change initiatives and build stronger internal commitment to change
  • Enhance organisational capability to navigate future challenges
