This is a highly practical sustainability leadership programme which supports your leadership team pursue your net-zero targets through a business focused, challenging, and engaging learning experience. This programme equips the leaders and managers within your organisation to build confidence with the topic of sustainability from a personal, organisational, and global perspective.
Overview
Sustainability is a human problem. Organisational leaders need to balance the need to mitigate the negative impact they have on the environment while being adaptive to the real impact that climate change will cause on your business, your supply chain, and your customers.
This five week programme covers:
- The question of why you personally and the organisation as a whole should be concerned about climate change and sustainability
- The skills you need to navigate the uncertainty created by climate change
- How to build an adaptive and resilient culture within your organisation with a sustainability mindset
- Action plans for quick wins and long-term projects to become a net-zero organisation for the future

Course Outline
½ days virtual introduction to sustainability – personal, organisational and global
1 day face to face workshop on mitigating the impact of your business on the environment
Three weeks of self-guided and group learning during which time the group will explore their business from the perspective of the circular economy and develop collective action plans. This process will be supported on our learning experience platform with digital content.
1 day face to face workshop on adaptive leadership for the climate emergency. This is a scenario based learning session where the group will be presented with certain climate change scenarios and will have to adapt the business response in each scenario.
The final half day can be either face to face or virtual and is a presentation day concluded with a facilitated session on goal setting.
Two week of reflection and presentation planning where the group collates there learning and makes business presentation to the CEO or Senior Sustainability Officer or Sponsor.
