Case Study: Leadership cohesion in a Global Technology Group

This 2,000-strong organisation operating in 30 countries is seeking a leaner, more efficient shared services function. The Group Functional Director is sponsoring a four-year programme of digital transformation and organisation re-design.

The Global Heads of Function, based in Europe, Far East, North and South America are accustomed to working within their geographical region. The Group Director approached Roffey Park looking for external facilitation of their first face-to-face meeting in Europe.

With a clear call to action, the group needed to navigate some tricky interpersonal relationships and align on a shared vision for functional transformation. After two days, not only were they able to make real progress on agreeing the opportunities, themes and risks, the scene was set for closer integration and collaboration which has positively impacted their day-to-day operations.
